Great Australian Bight is a marine national park in South Australia and in Western Australia, 918 km west of Adelaide.
The area extends from 200 kilometres (124 mi) West of Ceduna to the Western Australian border an additional area of a 20 nautical miles (37 km) wide strip that extends to 200 nautical miles (370 km) off-shore, forming a large T shape.[1]
The total area of the park is 14,769 square kilometres (5,702 sq mi) and includes the water, sea bed and subsoil to a depth of 1,000 metres (3,281 ft) below the sea bed.
